I use these two pc’s to watch stuff on Plex almost daily. It plays just fine using Firefox, this error only appears in Edge or Chrome. My Plex server has been working fine, software is up to date. It occurs on either of my PC’s when I try to play a video on PLEX. Has anyone seen this error? “Error code: STATUS_BREAKPOINT” It started this morning. I can reload the page and it will come back up with the song paused where it crashed but the moment I try to play again, the tab breaks. When chrome crashes it throws the “Aw Snap” page up and shows a little “error code: 5” message. I recently installed the latest Chrome version (98) and now I’m running into issues with music playback and Chrome crashing… It will play some songs all the way through but crash with others (all of the songs I’ve been testing with are mp3 320kbps stereo). But soon after, peoplesaid that they were getting the error message on Edge and Safari as well. It looks like the issue surfaced after the latest Google Chrome 98 update.
That being said, Plex Media Server users are now reporting ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) that they are getting an ‘Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this web page error code STATUS_BREAKPOINT’ error message when they try to play a video file on Chrome.
